This one is going in an HP 2740 Elitebook convertible tablet. This is the last of that series that used the 1.8" hard drives. Same with the 2540 elitebook (same except it is a normal laptop and has a DVD player). My best friend torched his last computer and can't access HIS stuff on ebay and he's a computer antichrist..literally systems shell hard drives when he walks by. So I'm building him this one..the drive set up perfectly fine, great communication with seller too!

Worked great in my old (ancient) HP 2730p Elitebook. Sped it up a lot too. Great upgrade to bring an old C2D back to useable status. (my daughters decided to nab a few of their old laptops from high school for their kids, but wanted them to be faster than the spin up 1.8" drives can do. Since they were all MAXED for RAM when they were kids, this will do for THEIR kids for simple browsing, homework (office 2003) and youtube video watching and light surfing (not gaming!)
