The ear pads had been removed (not obvious in the picture) and the unit frequently turns off, losing contact with the TV. I use headphones so I can watch TV late at night without disturbing my wife and when these headphones cut out the TV reverts to built-in speakers at a high level.They aren't usable for my intended purpose. The sound quality is good while they are working. The delivery was good and they were well packed.
