The mask does have an odor, which smacked me in the face when I first opened the package, but a few days outside got rid of most of it. I was also happy that I could actually wear the mask over my glasses (I have a small head), so I could wear the mask all day and night and still be able to see. The chemical smell was a little bit too much to wear it inside for too long, though.
