The flint and steel are very good, although it does take practice to get a spark. I had problems and the first flint broke. Borderland Bushcraft replaced it and also provided a sample of charcloth to catch the spark. They also provided a copy of their firelighting instruction leaflet - which is in fold out format, like a map and has colour photographs.
Their response to my initial problems was both quick and courteous and I can't recommend them highly enough.
