I purchased the hood from this seller because it is a discontinued hood no longer made by the manufacture. And the aftermarket hoods are basically junk. Thus I paid the price, however I found it a bit expensive for an older used lens hood, when adding the shipping cost on top of the price. The unit shop up on time and packaged in a box with packing slip.
