This pick up coil is a nominal 500 ohms, the unit I received was in the 440-450 ohms range. I needed it to be close to nominal for research purposes, and the seller contacted the manufacturer to see what the acceptable range is, these are considered acceptable at plus or minus 20% from nominal value.
