Unfortunately the item had an odor that’s consistent with the smell of homes with older people. I did inquire about odor before purchasing and seller stated there wasn’t one. I had to return the item due to this. This fabric was stored in a protective plastic bag, in a dry closet. I had several family members take a sniff, it smells like cotton fabric. I advised you to purchase 1 yard before you purchased the whole bolt. You decided not to. Im honestly confused, fabric always gets pre-washed and ironed before sewing...because it shrinks! So any supposed odor would have disappeared.
