Buyer beware - the seller is not allowed to charge more than what is listed or explained in the item description.
If the seller is trying to charge you extra after you’ve already purchased an item from his shop, he is operating against eBay policy. The seller made me purchase 2 of these fees before he would ship my motors, and I was granted a refund of these fees from eBay.

On some motors it is required to ship back the cores. It is laid out in the description that very few read. If not, then a small charge is required to avoid the cores shipped back.

The motors work well and arrived in good condition.
The listing is not accurate, however. I paid for the item+shipping and the seller made me purchase two “extra service charges” for not sending him my old motors. This extra fee was not detailed or clearly explained in the item listing or description.
eBay agreed the seller acted outside policy by charging extra, so I sought a refund for those extra charges. The seller ceased contact with me and I had to go through eBay to get my refund.
