After using the cord for a bit, this is most likely not a genuine Apple cord. If it is, it is was rejected by their quality control. MacBook screen repeatedly dims without a reason on and off nonstop when using this cord. The genuine Apple cord that came with my laptop does not have this issue, so this particular cord is likely not genuine. Grade F
