I surmised from the pictures that the dress would measure 48 inches as a maxi and asked the seller to double check the measurement before sending out. The seller agreed but didn't keep to his agreement, as the dress was posted without this check. It is a lovely dress but far too long at 53 inches. I will now have to get it professionally taken in which adds to the cost... :(
