It comes with a CR2032 battery fitted but note the battery exchange procedure (instructions in the box leaflet) requires prising of the whole circuit board out of the casing once the rear cover has been removed. Looking at the procedure I don't know how well the case's internal fixing lugs will last - time will tell. Good value (about 1/5th cost) compared to UK stockist pricing.
