I don't know much about this as I never had this type item before so I have nothing to compare it with. The price is nice and that's what I wanted. Would a more expensive one work any different. I have five 100 watt panels connected in parallel to this controller to a 100AH LifePo battery but i never get fully charged but charged good enough to run my RV lights and computer , tv, stereo all night. Can't run window a/c but about 20 minutes with this setup and battery runs down day or night.
