This product has a factory defect. It is sold as new, but seller never mentioned to in the description that nib has a defect. The lead material used for tipping was not evenly applied to both tines, there is more tipping on one tine that on the other, while tipping on the other tine also bent to the side. In addition, tine tips did not touch each other leaving a space between them. Overall such pen is pretty bad really, despite that it is new.

Trying work out exchange of nib unit with the client. Never had such issues with NEW Pelikan pens during years of business.
