Overall, I'm pleased with the chin strap which I bought for the deep brown color that I haven't seen elsewhere. I used it on a Luftwaffe blue gray M40 with the brown side out. The other side of the strap is black which isn't overly apparent in the pictures due to the shadows. The shorter piece with the buckle could have been a bit longer as it was difficult to wrap around and attach. The leather itself is acceptable and supple. It took 2 weeks to arrive from Ukraine to N. Carolina.
