This 10 AWG wire is true THWN-2 (and the jacket is stamped so), unlike the Southwire brand sold by the foot at Home Depot and Lowes, where the website SAYS it's THWN-2, but Southwire's website says it's not (and the jacket says THWN, not THWN-2). So, this wire is better than you get by the foot at HD/Lowe's, meaning it'll carry more current, is safer, and you may not have to buy a thicker wire.
