    The was patently a counterfeit coin. The description was not clear about that. It could have been clearly stated that it was a replica, and priced accordingly. Instead, it was ambiguously worded and was not clear that the “fantasy” description related to the coin being a replica vs descriptive of the depiction of St George fighting a dragon. I suggest caution with this seller.

    The item is described perfectly 'Retro Fantasy Pattern Crown' these are plentiful online and we sell many ourselves. The images clearly show it is not an original 1889 Crown of which again we sell many. This is not a counterfeit or replica coin the pattern coin range is highly sought after.
