So I might be the only idiot in the EU who was ignorant of VAT (apart from the 2 Italian buyers whom I didn’t bother to google translate their neutral reviews prior to purchasing)
Caveat emptor: if you’re buying from the EU, sunglasses attract 21% VAT. Belgian customs charge €39 over & above the tax for making them keep the parcel for 2 weeks for inspection (🥲💀)
It cost me an extra €85, the good news is it must be authentic because if it wasn’t, Belgian customs would’ve destroyed it 💀
