Connector looks good, but opposite of the connector needed for throttle body. Will keep/ use them for testing, or repairing other connectors.

This is stated in the title of the item (mating) and in the description of the item where it explicitly mentions that this does not plug into the throttle body but the harness side. This is intended for adapting 8 pin harnesses to other throttle bodies and for headlight connectors. We sell the connector you need, unfortunately you just bought the wrong part.
