ND, circa 1830, 1st printing with pagination error (vi for iv). Interior remains tight, clean and complete. Tissue guards at illustrations. Pages with some toning remain better than average. Illustrations with some toning and spotting. Front board and ffep., not attached. Small booksellers label to top of front board pastedown, “From Normans Establishment, No. 16, Camp Street, New Orleans.”(Famed for his Book on New Orleans). Publishers embossed cloth with some wear and scuffing. The corners are a bit bumped. Lacking the backstrip. Both front and rear boards not attached. 1971, news clipping taped to last fep., which is not attached. Everything being said volume remains worth of the needed backstrip remain. A must have for the serious collector. A wonderful gift idea.”
