Seller should have inspected it more closely before offering. To his credit he did offer a $100. discount. But the lens was not as described so back it went. Shipping return was paid by seller. In the interim I’ve replaced the lens with one that’s great.

The numbers and letters are clean, white, not greasy and yellow. Of course I understand that it is not such a big deal... but the point is that I could not buy these products when I was a student and now this is the fulfillment of a wish... it is much more than a lens.
