Drawing on the New American Standard Bible, Robert L. Thomas provides an excellent tool for gaining a well-rounded view of the life of Jesus. A Harmony of the Gospels: New American Standard Edition draws on a tradition of Bible translation that provides a more literal translation of Greek text. Thomas includes a wealth of supplemental material, including a probable chronological sequence of Christ's life.
