Similar gauge steel is used as original, but the flange where the suspension bumper bolts in is horribly done. The steel is just folded over and hammered "kinda" flat. The bumpers wont even fit without modification. If you really have to save a buck, they're fine. If you can afford better quality then front the money for them. Not good for a high-end restoration.
