Synopsis
Learn how to read with Dandelion Readers decodable books for beginner readers. Dandelion Readers, Level 1 are first reader books by Phonic Books that introduce children to a few letters and sounds at a time. The pack of 12 books is perfect for children in Kindergarten and Grade 1 who are learning to read, gradually introducing different vowel spellings through a series of stories. Two books for every stage provide phonics practice while offering different stories and encouraging independent reading from the start of their journey. Each stage introduces new letters and sounds while supporting any previously taught phonic letters or sounds and high-frequency words or sight words. For example: Book 1: The Mail (ai) Book 2: The Tree (ee) Book 3: Raj Gets a Soak (oa) Book 4: My Turn (ur) Book 5: Bread and Jam (ea) Book 6: Mr Brown (ow) Book 7: Zoom! (oo) Book 8: The Night Flight (igh) Book 9: In the Wood (oo) Book 10: The Fort (or) Book 11: Oil (oi) Book 12: Too Far (ar) Book 13: Fairy Wings (air) Book 14: Dear Old Friends (ear). This beginner reader series features: An introduction in each book to one new spelling for each of the vowel sounds. Reading material aimed at children aged 5-7. This pack of 12 decodable books containing 12 pages features: 'How to Use This Book' guidance page with 'This book introduces' text box, including information about the new sound being introduced, sounds learned from previous books, high-frequency words and important notes on the sound. 'Before reading this book, the reader needs to know', 'This book introduces', 'High-frequency words', 'Vocabulary' and 'Talk about the story' information. Reading and spelling practice. Story pages (numbers 1-6). Photocopyable game page to reinforce the sounds and letters learned throughout the book. What is phonics? Phonics is a way of teaching children to read by understanding the sounds that individual letters make and blending them to make a word. Children can learn to read using this skill to decode new words. - e***n (942)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseThis is a beautiful book, with great photos and well worth what I paid for it! The quality is excellent, as is its condition. What a great find! I was thinking it was postcards, but that is my fault, however, it is a great addition to my many books — I am a true bibliophile. This is a great discovery!

- e***p (142)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseThis tarot is absolutely gorgeous. I own many, and the illustrations and colors are just breathtaking. The material however is not the best. It's laminated cardboard, which means the cards are not only tough to shuffle, but also the plastic paper can start to chip away with friction from the cards themselves, revealing the puffed out paper core material. Regardless, it's still beautiful and I love having and using it. Just try to handle with extra care.
