"Original WWII" "The helmet liner was acquired in a recent auction and is in even better condition than the auction house described.
It appears it was painted late in the war with a slightly darker OD green, maybe OD7." Helmet was made in 1958. When unwrapped you could smell fresh paint. Webbing questionable. He was scammed and passed it on. I've collecting M1 Helmets for years. Was looking for this for a friend to complete his Korea Impression.
