The engineering on the steaks that go in the ground should be at least 2 ft longer.. because if you're fishing on a bank. You have to put it in at an angle to keep your rod tip high.. because any fish worth keeping with just pull that rod right into the water.. because nothing holds the rod actually in place when it does spring back
