The underneath of the base does have some age related wear which has to be expected with age and use. The lid opens just how it should and closes tightly shut. The interior is in excellent condition for its age but does have wear marks. Both hallmarks to the body and lid match up but the makers hallmark to the lid is rubbed. A stunning example which comes in an unusual large size, which is ready to be added to your collection.”
