    It took a tiny bit filing (removed 0.02" of its diameter) of the nylon bushing to get it to fit into the door-handle end recepticle, but otherwise the item is a perfect replacement part and works great. The nylon bushing is an upgrade from whatever polymer was used for the original, which invariably degrades and fails.
