It’s mostly designed to help your parrot climb in and out. My parrot within two weeks started chewing on the wood. The attached nails pulled away from the inside wall. When I got home from work my parrot was trapped inside the nest box. I have reached out to the company letting them know that a more secure design should be considered. Parrot had no way back to cage.
