Installed this on 2012 e92 335i xdrive. Fit was a little tight but I didn't not have to trim or cut anything out to get it in place. J-pipe that connects cold side of the intercooler to charge pipe was a bit tought to fit it in but little engine oil on the sealing ring does the trick. Can't speak for IAT yet but any large brick of aluminum is better than oem for heat soak. For the price I'd recommend it. Also it does hang a about 3/4" lower than oe cooler so be mindful if lowered and bumps.
