Packaged very well, but we had a few issues to sync our hard drive as the machine had been set up for two drives so my son had to change BIOS settings of the machine...but it took hours of software installs failing before we realised that was what was needed.
However the machine runs quickly now we have that sorted - we knew it would as we researched the benchmark of the processor before ordering - could just have done with a heads up about the setup of the machine.
