- u***u (0)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchasePerfect fit and assembly. Replacing the "upper" button assembly on the inner tailgate fixed my problem! Many GMC and Chevy truck owners are or may experience the problem of the tailgate opening automatically and randomly...all on it's own! Yep, no joke...this eventually resulted in the inner-tailgate simply not opening all together. I replaced the upper switch on the tailgate, and everything has worked perfectly ever since.
