The Pyle PLMRX67 two-way automotive speaker can be used as a marine speaker because it is completely waterproof. The Pyle 6.5-inch car speaker offers detachable grilles as an added option. Some of the features for this speaker include a 35-oz magnet, a 1-inch high-temperature voice coil, and a 0.75-inch dome tweeter. The use of the tweeter in this two-way automotive speaker evens out the tones emitted from the speaker, and the tweeter is made of durable neodymium. The Pyle 6.5-inch car speaker also offers santoprene as the surround material to aid in waterproofing and to provide non-distorted sound. In addition, the speaker requires a mounting depth of 2.55 inches for proper installation. As part of the Pyle Hydra series, the Pyle PLMRX67 can be mounted by a swimming pool, at a boat dock, in a car, or on a boat. Furthermore, this Pyle 6.5-inch car speaker offers a sensitivity of 90 dB at 1 watt.
