      This vintage Eagle mechanical pencil came well packaged & ready for use. It does, indeed, work & has lead in it. It extends & retracts the lead smoothly. The eraser is hard (no surprise there), but I may have a working replacement. The pencil is exactly as pictured & described. I'm very pleased with this purchase!
