There is paint loss around edges as might be expected with a piece like this and given age. There is only chips in paint, not in the wood carving itself which is amazing. All finger, toes, and other delicate details are intact. Thankfully the piece is able to disassemble into 4 pieces for shipping, this is good for both the buyer and me. It really reduces the risk of damage. It can be easily glued together for a more permanent display. This is a very high quality piece. Please review pictures. Hard to find this large.”
