After an extended time, the seller contacted me saying he had been ill. He offered to let me keep the ring and refund me $12, meaning I would pay only $24 (and tax) for an ugly ring that I won’t wear. I told him I would need to think about it, but it seems he may have initiated the refund without my consent. I am now completely unwilling to donate $24 to this seller.
