Richard Foreman is an avant-garde theatre pioneer and founder of the Ontological-Hysteric Theater. His honors include a Guggenheim Fellowship, a Literature Award from the American Academy and Institute of Arts and Letters, and a Lifetime Achievement Fellowship from the NEA.
