Unit powered up but would not change functions with oem remote, only recognized that I pressed any button on the remote. Unit did play vhs and dvd but only using on-Unit controls therefore no way to finish a burn vhs to dvd. Seller refunded quickly and item was shipped back.

I bought these tapes with the intention of recording over the content and these vintage reel to reel tapes are perfect for re-recording.
