It was probably an oversight but the seller sent me the wrong size sandals. I bought what was posted as a size 8 and was sent a size 9. Easy mistake- they were used and the size was blurry but I reached out to let the seller know I was sent the wrong size and got no response.

sorry about the size mistake. I measured the shoes since the size was blurry and it was supposed to match size 8 according to a size chart I found. The chart may have been incorrect as well. Sorry about that!
