About this product

Product Information

In the remote northern provinces of South Vietnam--a region of long-forgotten villages and steep hills--the U.S. Americal Division and 196th Light Infantry Brigade fought a series of battles against the North Vietnamese and Vietcong in 1967-68: Hiep Duc, Nhi Ha, Hill 406, and others. These pitched engagements, marked by fierce close combat, have gone virtually unreported in the decades since, but Col. James F. Humphries brings them into sharp focus, chronicling the efforts of these proud American units against a stubborn enemy and reconstructing what it was like to fight in Vietnam.

Fast delivery and well packaged so book condition was as dispatched. Listed as ‘very good’, the criteria includes ‘ No obvious damage to the book cover’ however the laminated cover was separating from cover beneath; majority of front cover had numerous small circle indentations (looked like some had being adding up their millions on it!) ; ‘no writing in the margins’ however writing in pen inside. - see photos.
