    Dear pacificrimcamera, I have received, with thanks, the nikon charger and am delighted with it. FYI the reason the power light did not come on was that the battery is too small in length. There is a switch behind the battery compartment, this powers up the charger. So what I did was to create a disc spacer, from copper and solder, to fit in front of the battery thus switching the power on and charging the battery. It took me a while to work out but I got there in the end; having a background in
