- e***r (11)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseI received my BIOS chip in about 2wks, and swapped it in and my PC was booting again. My MB is EVGA Z170 FTW (140-SS-E177) from 2016, and the new BIOS contained ver 2.06. My error code was 4F, "DXE IPL is started" which is quite generic. I replaced my memory first, that didn't do anything. Anyway, I would buy a pre-flashed BIOS from this seller again. When I do get another MB, I will look to see if it has a MB BIOS socket, since this made the swap easy, no soldering.
