Contacted seller. Yes, a return is an option, but a return is not worth it for this small item. I'm not at fault, so I'm opting for the negative feedback option.

Buyer was offered an eBay return. Must of, liked the pliers enough to keep them anyway. Companies do change the product appearance and keep the same part number.
Like the buyer I have seen this before, he also failed to mention he wanted a partial refund.
