Found what was left of the old nut but what was left of it was unusable. Took a chance and ordered this one and it went back on perfectly with a power handle and a cheater pipe for leverage. Used red Loctite since the cotter key hole had disappeared over several years of use. Use a 2&1/4 inch socket although the nut is probably metric. Nut was expensive but cheaper and faster than dealer
