The replacement HDD cables fit right in. I have been buying these older laptops here to refurbish for legacy applications, and the providers sometimes don't leave the cable, caddy, and screws when they remove the HDD. I understand the PO retaining his HDD. I would too. But I sure wish they would leave all the wiring and mounting hardware with the machine it was on. It's useless anywhere else, and sometimes quite difficult to find.
