Nonetheless, be careful : mine was flashed with an earlier firmware (known for some stability issues). I could flash the card with the later firmware, thanks to Broadcom's and TrueNAS's documentations.

It arrived pre-formatted and was previously part of a RAID system. I was looking for a new one, as mechanical HDDs have limited lifespans, and therefore I never buy used HDDs (unlike memory or other parts with no moving parts). I am very disappointed. Cheaper sellers offered used HDDs, but I paid more for a supposedly new one!
