My QNAP TS-412 wouldn't boot with the disks in, which is a pretty important feature of a NAS. The NAS fans would "rev" but no further action. Remove the disks, then the NAS would boot up. Obviously a diskless NAS is less than ideal.
So I purchases this power supply, hoping that old one was faulty as this would be a cheap and easy fix. And that turned out to be the case. My ancient TS-412 still has some life in it.
