When purchasing this Thermostat Metal D Shape Control Knob Shaft Extension make sure that the circumference is right. For me, this extension piece did not quite fit over the thermostat's temperature control arm and the temperature control knob fitted loosely. I will have to do some tweeting to make it work properly.
