Does NOT "function as intended", as per described in the item's condition. Either the bass or tweeter is blown. I specifically asked seller for bass integrity prior to purchase, and was assured that it worked fine. I'm very familiar with this speaker, have owned 2 units. I did my absolute due diligence, carefully reading and re-reading the item description for any disclosure on sound integrity, contacted the seller prior purchase for confirmation, and still ended up with a compromised unit.
