The value add of this emergency release is without question. The original hood latch and release on these Triumph cars are a true example of British stupidity. Once installed this emergency hood release works far better than the factory junk.

The ones in the ad were covered in trim the ones that arrived were covered in rust and glue. One of the pair was very fragile due to excessive rust. A little disappointing that I had to spend more money to repair the part. Australia is too far away to return the item.
