    The statue was not wood, it was at least partially ceramic. While the body and base have some heft, the legs and feet were hollow and disintegrated in the packaging, arriving separated and unable to be repaired. It’s a shame, because otherwise the shipping was fast and reasonably priced, and what survived was as pictured and would have looked great intact.
